Gamer coordination
Coordinate player or team onboarding, technical requirements, briefings and match-day communication with tournament organisers.
Overview / Production & Operations
Production & Operations describes the technical and esports delivery role within GLOOGA. It connects gamers, competition administration and production crews so that event activity can reach the viewing platform.
Coordinate player or team onboarding, technical requirements, briefings and match-day communication with tournament organisers.
Plan how gamer feeds, game capture, commentary and venue sources are received and handed over to the broadcast workflow.
Coordinate the programme running order, production crew, switching, audio and approved event graphics according to the agreed brief.
| Preparation area | What to establish |
|---|---|
| Competition requirements | Game format, match schedule, participant numbers and the relationship between competition administration and production. |
| Player readiness | Capture and connection requirements, check-in arrangements, technical contacts and briefing instructions. |
| Production resources | The required crew, commentary, capture sources, audio, graphics and venue coordination. |
| Technical rehearsal | Feed checks, audio tests, programme cues and handover to the viewing platform. |
| Contingency planning | Escalation contacts, interruption procedures and a coordinated approach to communicating delays. |
Keep production informed of match readiness, pauses and schedule changes. Tournament organisers retain the agreed responsibility for rules, decisions and results.
Monitor source availability and audio/video quality, coordinate programme cues and raise technical issues through the agreed incident process.
Coordinate commentary, interviews and match information so the broadcast follows the competition. Approved sponsor placements should fit the programme running order.
An event review should capture delivery issues, production lessons and any agreed recordings or content handover. Match outcomes and prize information should be reconciled with the tournament organiser before public reporting.
Operational records support the wider commercial reconciliation. They do not replace payment records, ticket attribution or the agreed rules for revenue distribution.
The reference model allocates 30% of net distributable ticket revenue to this role. The responsible parties must agree the services, costs, deliverables and payment terms; the allocation is not accounting profit.
Explore the ticket economics| Role | Primary focus |
|---|---|
| Siaraya / platform | Ticketing, payments, viewer access, platform delivery and revenue reporting. |
| Production & Operations | Gamer coordination, competition feeds, technical production and delivery support. |
| Tournament organiser | Competition format, eligibility, rule enforcement, adjudication and verified results. |
| Creators & partners | Approved promotion, agreed campaign contributions and audience or programme support. |
The event brief should specify technical requirements, rehearsal expectations, monitoring, crew responsibilities and the response to interruptions. Capacity and production quality need validation against the actual setup.
Training opportunities described in the GLOOGA programmes include game capture, audio/video production, switching, network management and streaming security, supported by practical event experience.
Include the game, date, format, player or team numbers, venue or remote setup, existing equipment and intended broadcast destination. Identify any organiser, crew or technical partner already involved.
